(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_1
By the sky containing great stars






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_2
And [by] the promised Day






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_3
And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_4
Cursed were the companions of the trench






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_5
[Containing] the fire full of fuel,






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_6
When they were sitting near it






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_7
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_8
And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah , the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_9
To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , over all things, is Witness.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_10
Indeed,
those who have tortured the believing men and believing women
and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell,
and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_11
Indeed,
those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have
gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_12
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_13
Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_14
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_15
Honorable Owner of the Throne,





(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_16
Effecter of what He intends.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_17
Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_18

[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_19
But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_20
While Allah encompasses them from behind.






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_21
But this is an honored Qur'an






(The Mansions of the Stars) - سورة البروج 85_22
[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
